Fortress, a jem of a ski hill!
Like Nakiska, Fortress is another little jem of a ski hill in the Rockies. So what makes this one so special?
- THE SNOW! Fortress has the sweetest snow conditions! Tons and tons of powder on two mountains, one of these having a front and back side.
- They are currently renovating to serve you better so get ready for a special treat in early December when the ski season begins.
Speaking about special… Did you know that the Winter Olympics in 2010 will be hosted by Whistler, BC. ? So what?, you ask. Well, the Alberta Luge Association picked Fortress to train on! So make sure you go have a chat with these athletes so they can show you what natural luge is all about!
