And the Sunshine, WOW! There is nothing like getting off that chair lift, on top of the world, and the beautiful rays of sunshine surrounding you 360 degrees. Maybe that’s why they called it Sunshine Village!
Sunshine boasts many programs for people of all ages and abilities. There programs for kids are second to none from the Tiny Tigers daycare, Tiny Tigers ski and play, snowboarding schools, Kids Campus to many other half and full day ski schools. All of which are designed to build confidence and to bring out the best in kids.
Lessons can also be arranged for adults too!
And let’s not forget the friendly Sunshine Snowhosts that can help you get the most out of your experience on the mountain with their relaxed and informative complimentary tours!
Don't forget your goggles! It tends to get very windy on the summit.

How do I get there?

That’s easy! Located in Banff national park, in the heart of the Rockies, Sunshine Village is not difficult to find. It's 30 minutes from Canmore, just 8 km west from the town of Banff. There is an access road that is clearly sign posted from Highway 1, you can't miss it. You don't have to go as far as Fortress or Nakiska but you will have to buy a Banff Park Pass.
