- Parallel to Highway 40 (Kananaskis Trail), Even-Thomas Bike Path allows access at numerous points along its 13 Kms. Most popular trailheads are at Wedge Pond, Mount Kidd RV Park, Ribbon Creek and Kananaskis Village.
- This route can form an approximate 42 Km loop with the the Galateal and Terrace trails using Hwy 40.
- It also makes for an easy and fun cross-country skiing trail during winter months.

- From Highway 40, turn left at the Evan-Thomas Day Use Area.
- This 1.4 Km trail forms a loop with the Evan-Thomas Bike Path and the Wedge Connector Trail for a total of approximately 5 Km.
- You can also follow the point to point Evan-Thomas Trail, an unmaintained, 8.2 Km route often used for horseback riding.

- A short interpretive day hike, Wedge Pond Trail is an open, level route circling Wedge Pond.
- Exhibits along the lakeshore tell of the excavation of the pond during the construction of Kananaskis Golf Course.
